The Kingdom Rejected

As we have gone through the Gospel of Mark the Kingdom of God has been a significant theme. Moving into chapter 6 we will see three instances in which the Kingdom of God is rejected. Jesus is rejected in his hometown, Jesus prepares his disciples for rejection, and John the Baptist ultimately has his life taken for advocating for Biblical truth. As we examine these cases it also raises the question how do we deal with rejection as we try to live as Kingdom people? There’s many things to consider but ultimately the Kingdom keeps moving forward.
